Spinal Adjustment – Margaret River
When the person returns for the second visit, a report of finding is given along with the explanation of the chiropractic analysis of the X-rays images. Each visit starts with a chiropractic assessment to determine what is to be done on this day. Particular attention is given to variation of legs length in different positions prior and after the adjusting of the vertebral subluxation to determine the efficacy of the adjusting procedure: cracking noise does not mean necessarily that the adjustment has been successful, testing is necessary for that purpose.
Precision Chiropractic Adjustment
Particular attention is always given to the upper cervical spine, where spinal misalignment has a dramatic influence on nervous system function. For a highly precise upper cervical chiropractic technique we use the Palmer specific Toggle Recoil adjustment of the Atlas vertebra, . This specialised approach forms an important part of the chiropractic care provided and reflects our commitment to delivering precise, objective chiropractic adjustments. The adjustment itself consists of a quick velocity-low force manoeuvre, the Palmer specific toggle recoil of the Atlas vertebra is definitely the epitome!
For full spine adjusting we use the Thompson Technique which includes both a leg check analysis and adjusting procedures. The technique is performed on a Thompson Pneumatic Table (drop table) that was developed by Dr. Clay Thompson. The table segment drops slightly, using gravity and the drop mechanism provides a highly effective, though gentle, adjustment without requiring heavy manual force.
